September is the time to start wrapping up all the summer projects and make up the fall TO-DO list. At least it will be my TO-DO list; so I can make it as ambitious as I like. Failure to complete it just means I re-order my priorities when I make out my winter ‘TO-DO’ list.

Why make a list then? Because it gives you a tangible sense of accomplishment. And there’s nothing like success to make you feel good.

Antenna symbolMy TO-DO list might include:

  1. Stringing a long-wire for HF - it’s a wonder what you can do with a tuner and a hank of wire.
  2. ‘Winterizing’ my 6-m loop (or replacing it with a higher gain antenna - quad anyone?)
  3. Organizing my ‘shack’ so the grandkids don’t trip over the feedlines.
  4. Getting up early enough to make the 3868 kHz SEMARA Morning net.

Now where did I put my ROUND-TO-IT?
